Former Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Eduardo Salazar, who was designated for assignment a few weeks ago, is now joining his third team this year.
Salazar, who was claimed by the Seattle Mariners, was then DFA’d again, and is now joining the Washington Nationals. The team added him and optioned him to Triple-A Rochester.
Salazar made one appearance at the Major League level with the Dodgers this season, throwing two shutout innings. He was then DFA’d amid a roster shuffle, and joined the Mariners.
Salazar never made an MLB appearance with Seattle. He had a 5.
