The Los Angeles Dodgers proudly celebrated Jackie Robinson Day by visiting his statue in center field at Dodger Stadium, then kept their momentum on the field in a 7-5 comeback to sweep the Colorado Rockies and extend their winning streak to a season-best six games.
Colorado jumped ahead in the first inning on Ryan McMahon’s solo home run in the first inning that hit off the top of the wall in right field and just out of Zach McKinstry’s reach. Garrett Hampson then took Julio Urias deep in the third for his first home run of the season.
