Recap: Dodgers Defeat Nationals In Rain-Shortened Game

The Los Angeles Dodgers twice came from behind to defeat the Washington Nationals, 6-2, and extend their winning streak to six games. The game was called after five innings and a rain delay that lasted more than one hour.

Tony Gonsolin was originally scheduled to start but the threat of a rain delay prompted the Dodgers to rely on Victor Gonzalez as an opener. He failed to get through the first inning, retired two of four batters faced and allowed one run.

Gonsolin entered in the second inning and pitched through the fourth, allowing one run in his final frame.
