Recap: Dodgers Complete Interleague Sweep Of Mariners

The Los Angeles Dodgers found more two-out magic in a 7-1 win over the Seattle Mariners to complete a sweep of their Interleague series. The Dodgers have won back-to-back games for the first time since April 16-17 when they were at the end of an eight-game winning streak.

It’s also their first series win since April 16-18, when L.A. took two of three from the San Diego Padres.

Mariners starter Justin Dunn didn’t allow a baserunner until Mookie Betts doubled with two outs in the bottom of the third inning. Nothing came of it, but the Dodgers did capitalize when walks by Justin Turner and Max Muncy, along with a Will Smith single loaded the bases in the fourth, as Matt Beaty broke the scoreless tie with a two-run double.
