The Los Angeles Dodgers may have lost Corey Seager to injury, but they defeated the Miami Marlins, 7-0, to extend their winning streak to four games. L.A. also has won consecutive series for the first time in one month.
Jordan Holloway held the Dodgers without a hit until Justin Turner’s leadoff single in the fourth inning, which wound up providing a bit of a spark. Max Muncy then followed with a single and Will Smith walked to load the bases with nobody out.
Holloway continued to have command struggles as he walked Chris Taylor to bring in a run and break up the scoreless tie.
