Recap: Albert Pujols Robbed Of Home Run, Dodgers Lose To Giants In Extra Innings

The Los Angeles Dodgers failed to capitalize on their opportunities throughout the night and suffered an 8-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants in 10 innings. It marked the Dodgers’ first time falling to the Giants through five head-to-head meetings so far this season.

Walker Buehler extended his streak of pitching at least six innings in all 10 starts, but his strikeouts remained down and home run ball was still an issue. Buehler only allowed three hits, with one of those a homer.

The Giants took their first lead of the game when Brandon Crawford doubled in the second inning and advanced to third base on a passed ball that was a result of Will Smith getting crossed up.
