While battling with coronavirus fatigue as I navigate through the uncertainties in the legal world, I provide a short “Random Thoughts” post for your consideration:
- I will start by saying that I really hope that I’m wrong, but I do not believe there will be baseball this year. With guidelines for “opening up” society being such a moving target, I cannot envision any scenario whereby MLB and the Players Union will agree to an abbreviated season. Nor can I envision certain politicians being on board for restarting baseball. If the beaches remain closed, why would they open baseball stadiums?
