Quakes’ right-hander retires last 20 in a row, faces minimum in complete game shutout

Adam Bray pitched a complete game one-hit shutout as the Quakes beat the San Jose Giants 5-0 in San Jose. Bray, faced the minimum 27 batters, he retired the side in order in eight of the nine innings including putting down the last 20 batters he faced.

The Dodgers broke open the game with a five-run ninth inning and they went on to defeat the Iowa Cubs 9-3.
