Quakes fall one run short 7-6, Toles and Kendrick combine for five hits

RANCHO CUCAMONGA -- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes dropped the series finale 7-6 to the Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres) on Sunday afternoon at LoanMart Field. The Quakes did not lose a single game to the Storm at home in 2015, starts of this season losing 3 of 4.

Dodger infielder Howie Kendrick played the entire game at second base, he went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI. He made several plays at second base including a nice turn while completing a double play. Kendrick appeared to be all set to be activated from the disabled list in time for Tuesday's home opener at Dodger Stadium.
