SAN DIEGO -- Outfielder Andrew Toles will be recalled by the Dodgers from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday to replace Yasiel Puig, who will be placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right intercostal oblique muscle.
The club has not confirmed the moves, but Toles was on the field with the Dodgers for early batting practice on Monday. On Sunday, manager Dave Roberts indicated Puig would go on the DL with the injury he suffered in a fifth-inning at-bat on Sunday. Puig was scheduled for an MRI in Los Angeles on Monday.
