ANAHEIM -- Yasiel Puig hit a home run Sunday out of the No. 3 spot in the Dodgers' lineup, and his opportunities in that part of the order might become something of a regular thing.
With Justin Turner missing time with a fractured left wrist, the Dodgers are looking for middle-of-the-order options, which would also include outfielder Matt Kemp.
"Can I say right now that he is going to hit third every day? Absolutely not," manager Dave Roberts said of Puig after a 4-2 win in the Freeway Series opener at Angel Stadium.
