LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was removed from Friday night's game against the Marlins after an apparent injury during a fourth-inning walk.
Puig took ball four from Marlins pitcher Justin Nicolino and appeared to grimace. Manager Dave Roberts and a trainer checked on Puig, but he remained in the game and scored on Brett Eibner's home run.
Before the top of the fifth inning, Puig was replaced in the outfield, with Eibner moving from center field to right field and Joc Pederson taking over in center.
Ken Gurnick has covered the Dodgers for MLB.
