A few days ago, Ken Rosenthal officially broke the news that the Dodgers were shopping INF Alex Guerrero and had spoken with "numerous teams". This wasn't exactly surprising. In fact, most people already assumed that this was the case given the fact that Guerrero is currently listed 4th on the Dodgers depth chart at third base behind even Chase Utley and Howie Kendrick, who have played a combined total of 4 games at the position in their entire careers.
u200bHowever, since Rosenthal's tweet there hasn't really been any additional news surrounding Guerrero. This is likely because there aren't too many suitors for the struggling 29-year-old whose contract gives him the ability to become a free agent in the offseason immediately following any trade.
