Shouldn't have stopped the Van Damme references, obviously. With the Dodgers having clawed back from a 4-2 deficit to go up 6-4 into the ninth inning, Adam Liberatore couldn't get either of his two batters out; Yimi Garcia walked two people (and obviously walked a run in); J.P. Howell gave a passed ball to tie the game up, then ended up intentionally walking CarGo; and finally, Nolan Arenado sacrificed in the winning run. We got an out! We lost the game anyway!
Clearly, that ninth-inning strike zone was a hard target. A split at the hands of the Rockies is pretty mediocre, but luckily, the Giants' sweepage at the hand of the Pirates keeps us two games up in the West.
