The Dodgers acquired Brian Dozier and John Axford before the non-waiver trade deadline. The cost was extremely minimal for both and one is off to a great start with his new team while the other is not.
The Dodgers took on the Wild Card-leading Brewers and split a 4-game series. They scored 21 runs in a game on Thursday, but those runs were non-existent during the Astros series over the weekend.
