Phillies Get Star Reinforcements Ahead of Series With Dodgers

After the Los Angeles Dodgers took two of three games against the National League Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers, things aren’t getting any easier this week. Tuesday marks the opener of a three-game series against the NL and MLB-leading Philadelphia Phillies.

Philadelphia holds a record of 58-32 on the season and they have been especially good at home. The Phillies are 33-14 at Citizens Bank Park.

As the team gets ready for the big matchup with Los Angeles, Philadelphia is getting some needed reinforcements. Slugger Kyle Schwarber and star first baseman Bryce Harper were activated from the injured list in advance of Tuesday’s game.
