Bud Norris made a great first impression in his Dodger debut, striking out eight and allowing just two hits and a walk through six scoreless innings. This continued a string of good performances from Norris since he was moved from the bullpen back to the starting rotation. In those six starts (five with Atlanta, one with Los Angeles), he has an ERA of 1.78 (1.92 FIP) across 35 and one-third innings.
Today, he’ll face one of his former teams. Norris spent the latter part of 2013, all of 2014, and the first part of 2015 pitching for Baltimore.
