The Royals, who are somehow not at all awful in 2020, beat the Dodgers by a score of 8-4 today to put them just two games below .500 on the year.
Hunter Dozier starred, going 2-for-4 with a triple, including four RBIs and a run. Mike Montgomery got the win and is now 4-1, going just five frames, but limiting the Dodgers to two runs on five hits.
The Dodgers were within striking distance heading into the 7th, but Dave Roberts left starter David Price in for at least a batter too long, as Dozier cleared the bases by hitting a 2-2 cutter for a triple to make it 7-2 for the Royals.
