It’s roster movement season around baseball. The Dodgers already named all 26 players for opening day next week but some teams are still trying to put all the pieces together. As such, it’s that time we start to see old friends on the chopping block. Like one-time LA reliever Reyes Moronta, who was in Rangers camp on a minor league deal.
On Friday, Texas cut the right-hander after informing him he would not make the club out of spring.
Moronta spent a few months with the Dodgers last season, performing well for a stretch before he started forgetting how to throw strikes.
