The Dodgers narrowly missed a no-hitter for the second night in a row. But on Saturday it was the Oklahoma City Dodgers, that is. Three pitchers combined for to hold the Nashville Sounds (A's) hitless through eight innings, but Chin-hui Tsao allowed a pair of hits in the ninth inning to end the no-hit bid.
Nashville, down two runs to open the inning, got the tying run in scoring position with one out, but Tsao held on to preserve the win, a 2-1 two-hitter.
Oklahoma City pitchers have combined to allow three runs in the first three games of the series.
