Very good day for Dodger minor league affiliates as every team won with the one loss being part of a split double-header.
With every team winning, there were several choices but the Player of the day honor goes to Andrew Toles. The Oklahoma City outfielder went 5-for-8 in the pair of games with a home run and two runs batted in.
The Dodgers ended their losing streak as they split their doubleheader against the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Marlins). In the first game, the Dodgers won 6-4 while they lost the second game 11-5.
Scoring six runs in the fourth inning was how the Dodgers won that first game.
