LOS ANGELES -- The rookie-level Ogden Raptors on Wednesday announced their opening day roster, which includes 12 players picked by the Dodgers in the 2015 draft, set to begin their professional career in northern Utah.
Included on the Raptors are 2015 fourth-round infielder Willie Calhoun, plus pitchers Tommy Bergjans (eighth round) and Kevin Brown (ninth round) and outfielder Logan Landon (10th round), to name a few.
Ogden will also feature four newly-converted pitchers - former catchers John Cannon and Jose Capellan, and outfielder Colin Hering, the latter a 2014 draft pick. Cannon pitched one game for Double-A Tulsa earlier this season, allowing one run on two hits in one inning in his relief appearance.
