PHOENIX -- Patrick Corbin, 0-8 in his previous nine starts against the Dodgers, held them to one hit through 7 1/3 scoreless innings and out-hit them at the plate with a double and single, as the D-backs completed a three-game series sweep with a 3-0 win Wednesday at Chase Field.
Corbin struck out a career-high 12 -- at least one in each inning for the first-place D-backs -- as the Dodgers fell to 2-5, their worst start after seven games in 20 years. Without the injured Justin Turner, the Dodgers have been shut out three times this season and held to one run once.
