Dodgers RHP Noah Syndergaard is enjoying a strong start to the spring in his first year in Los Angeles. In 9.1 innings, Syndergaard has allowed just one run and struck out eight, to the tune of a 0.96 ERA. His fastball is topping at just 94 mph, but he’s found ways to dominate even without the high velocity he had early in his career.
The Dodgers signed Syndergaard to a one-year, $13 million deal in the offseason, and he instantly became a perfect candidate to revitalize his career in the famous Mark Prior pitching lab.
