The Los Angeles Dodgers announced former outfielder Dusty Baker will be inducted into the “Legends of Dodger Baseball.” Baker will be inducted as part of the Dodgers’ “Alumni Weekend” in August.
Baker played for the Dodgers from 1976-83, where he easily had the best years of his playing career. With the Dodgers, Baker was a two-time MLB All-Star, National League Conference Series MVP, a two-time Silver Slugger, and a Gold Glove winner. He also won the World Series with the Dodgers in 1981.
“It’s a tremendous honor,” Baker said, via Cary Osborne of Dodger Insider.
