SAN FRANCISCO -- The Dodgers activated Kike' Hernandez from the DL this afternoon, welcoming him back after missing 26 games with a hamstring injury.
But Hernandez didn't miss anything important. He joked that he called a team meeting to thank his teammates for not clinching before he could get back.
The Dodgers have made that hard on themselves by losing seven of their past nine games, leaving the magic number at two as they open this four-game series at AT&T Park -- where they are 0-6 this season and didn't score a single run during their most recent visit (a three-game sweep by the Giants in May).
