There’s a beefy appetizer menu leading up to the MLB All-Star Game this coming Tuesday. The Home Run Derby is set for Monday night at Dodger Stadium, with the MLB Draft taking place the day before at LA Live. But for fans that can’t get their fill of watching top prospects, the MLB Futures Game today is the dish of choice.
Three Dodgers prospects will all be taking the field for the NL team: Miguel Vargas, Diego Cartaya, and Bobby Miller.
Longtime Dodgers catcher Mike Scioscia, who spent his entire 13-year MLB career on the Dodgers, will be managing the NL side in the MLB Futures Game.
