Los Angeles Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman has made it clear on multiple occasions that the team’s needs this offseason are a right-handed bat and relief pitching.
And until Justin Turner makes his decision in free agency, the former likely will not be addressed. Friedman has already begun getting to work on the bullpen though, acquiring Corey Knebel in a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers and signing familiar faces Brandon Morrow, Jimmy Nelson and Brock Stewart to Minor League contracts.
Those were all under-the-radar moves that could end up proving key or may be nothing at all depending on how those players perform.
