LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Tuesday with their sixth-round pick of the 2015 MLB Draft selected first baseman Edwin Rios of Florida International University with the No. 192 overall pick.
The 6'3, 202-pound Rios hit .314/.421/.592 with 18 home runs in 61 games as a junior for FIU, the fourth-most home runs in a season in school history. Rios was 4-for-10 in the Coral Gables Regional, though FIU was unable to advance in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
Rios was named first team All-Conference USA this season.
