ATLANTA – Mike Bolsinger can’t give the Dodgers what they really need. That would involve sending a handful of minor-league prospects to the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds or some other mystery team.
But for one day, the young right-hander avoided any bad oysters or faulty circuit breakers and gave the Dodgers a reasonable facsimile. Bolsinger went seven strong innings as the Dodgers avoided a sweep in Atlanta with a 3-1 victory over the Braves on Wednesday afternoon.
