Infielder Miguel Rojas returned to the Dodgers this past season after he was acquired over the offseason, and he seemed to enjoy himself throughout the year. He was brought in as more of a depth piece, but an injury to Gavin Lux opened up things for him to be the everyday shortstop.
For most of the season, Rojas didn’t do much offensively, but in the final part of the season, he started to pick it up. He brought other factors to the team, such as leadership and defense, which kept him on the field.
It was a necessary part of the team this season, and unfortunately, we didn’t get to see how things played out deep into the postseason.
