Los Angeles Dodgers veteran shortstop Miguel Rojas believes there is no one better to manage the team aside from Dave Roberts.
Roberts led the Dodgers on a historic run to the World Series in 2024. Despite many injuries, Roberts remained an optimistic figure in the Dodgers clubhouse.
Rojas said Roberts knows his players, which in turn, results in trusting their manager. Roberts held an unprecedented team meeting in Atlanta after the news broke that ace Tyler Glasnow wouldn’t return in 2024. Several players, including Rojas, believe the meetings kept the Dodgers’ October hopes alive.
“It was significant because he knows the group,” Rojas told Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain.
