Mega-spending Dodgers still have many holes on pitching staff going into Winter Meetings

/ STAFF WRITER

Andrew Friedman has been the Dodgers president of baseball operations for 14 months now, making decisions with GM Farhan Zaidi and senior vice president of baseball operations Josh Byrnes.

In that time, Max Scherzer, Jon Lester, James Shields, David Price, Jordan Zimmermann, Jeff Samardzija and Zack Greinke have become free agents and signed contracts with new teams. None of those pitchers will be in a Dodgers uniform in 2016 despite the fact that the Dodgers will head to the Winter Meetings in Nashville this week in the market for starting pitching for the second consecutive offseason.
