It might have come in a losing effort, but Dustin May had his strongest start since returning to Rancho Cucamonga from injury. May struck out nine over five scoreless innings, while walking just one, lowering his ERA to 3.12 on the season. May successfully worked around six hits, and showed promising stamina in lasting 72 pitches in his second start of the season.
