The Dodgers will be represented in the Home Run Derby for the fifth straight year when Max Muncy gets his shot on Monday night at Nationals Park in Washington.
The festivities will be televised by ESPN beginning at 5 p.m. PT.
This event has never been won by a Dodger and up until the last three years, the franchise results were a punchline. The embarrassment in the derby has been outlined on this site with each time they have a new entry.
From 1993-2014, seven Dodgers appearances in the event produced just 10 total home runs, half of which were hit by Hee Seop Choi.
