DENVER -- Clayton Kershaw adhered to his day-after-start workout, Don Mattingly did the managing chores, and both appeared to turn the page as if Thursday's dugout confrontation never happened.
An agitated Kershaw was caught by cameras in a spirited attempt to convince Mattingly to leave him in the game after five innings, trailing 3-0. Kershaw was removed and the Dodgers rallied for a 6-3 win.
"That's over," Mattingly said before Friday's 7-4 loss to the Rockies. "I talked to him in the weight room today."
Mattingly reiterated that removing Kershaw was a game decision and was not motivated by trying to limit innings so Kershaw would be stronger during the playoffs.
