Matt Kemp‘s return to the Dodgers was supposed to be a brief one, and yet when Opening Day rolled around, he was (thankfully, now) still a member of the team.

Not only has he been useful to the team, but he’s been one of the key cogs to the offense so far, putting up a slash of .347/.389/.592/.981. Most importantly, it just … feels like he’s back.
