Matt Beaty went 3-for-5 and his fourth home run of the season provided the Drillers with the win. Beaty spent, a 2015 draftee, spent all of 2016 at Rancho Cucamonga, he’s been playing first base for the Drillers this season.
The Dodgers dropped their third of four games against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Brewers) with a 3-1 defeat on Sunday. Oklahoma City had the tying runs on base with two out in the ninth but Willie Calhoun grounded out to end the game.
