ANAHEIM -- Mat Latos won't be making that start on Wednesday night after all. The right-hander was scratched from his scheduled start with neck stiffness, and Joe Wieland will start in his place in the series finale against the Angels.
This is the first report of an injury for Latos with the Dodgers. Since he was acquired on July 30, the right-hander has a 6.56 ERA in five starts and has failed to complete five innings in each of his last four starts.
