Okay, that joke is a lot funnier ten days ago, but I've been pretty busy with Thanksgiving holiday and all that.

- LAT's Bill Shaikin says Roberts could turn out like Walter Alston.
- Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto calls Roberts a "great hire".
- Gabe Kapler had a very classy tweet congratulating Roberts as an "exceptional individual".
- LAT's Steve Dilbeck remains guarded on the Roberts hire.
