The coronavirus has obviously shut down Major League Baseball, which has a trickle-down effect on plenty of other businesses. Louisville Slugger is one of those other businesses that hurt from the suspension of the season.
The Louisville Courrier Journal is reporting that the popular bat manufacturer is shutting down it’s factory and furloughing its employees. Louisville Slugger CEO John Hillerich IV commented on the reported shutdown. The museum has also been shut down indefinitely amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
