Logan Forsythe walk-off double lifts Dodgers over Cardinals

LOS ANGELES — Logan Forsythe ended the Dodgers’ longest game of the season with a walk-off double in the 13th inning to beat the Cardinals 2-1 on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers improved to 3-2 in extra-inning games, and improved to 17-7 at home in 2017.

It took an old friend to finally end it, with Jonathan Broxton issuing a two-out walk to Kiké Hernandez in the 13th inning before Forsythe ended it with a drive into the right field corner.

Not bad for a his first game back off the disabled list, and one that started with four strikeouts in his first four at-bats.
