Lineups: Carlos Frias latest starter to step into Dodgers rotation

LOS ANGELES -- The last time the Dodgers let Carlos Frias start a game it did not go well.

The rookie right-hander took the ball last Sept. 17 at Coors Field and got shelled like no one had been shelled before. Frias became the first pitcher in the modern era (post-1920) to give up 10 hits while recording fewer than three outs in an inning.

Frias faced 11 batters and gave up eight runs on 10 hits while recording just two outs -- one on bunt attempt, the other on a stolen base attempt.
