Latos' scratch has ripple effect on LA rotation

ANAHEIM -- Dodgers right-hander Mat Latos was scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday due to neck stiffness, and right-hander Joe Wieland made his second start of the season in the Freeway Series finale against the Angels at Angel Stadium.

"The length of time, I don't know. These things usually appear quickly and go quickly," manager Don Mattingly said. "It started yesterday, and they sent him home before the game. They were hoping it would get better, but it didn't."

This shuffles up the Dodgers' rotation for the foreseeable future.

Alex Wood starts on Friday with an extra day of rest, Mike Bolsinger slides into the rotation Saturday with three extra days of rest, followed by Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw.
