The phrase "now I’ve seen it all" comes to mind after the Dodgers finished off the Nationals in Game 5 Thursday night. But the game of baseball continues to prove that the phrase may never apply.
Nobody could’ve predicted that Clayton Kershaw would end up saving a game that 20-year-old Julio Urias won as the youngest Dodgers’ pitcher in postseason history after Kenley Jansen came into the game in the seventh inning and threw 51 pitches.
As it turns out, the only other time that Kershaw has saved a game in his professional career came with Jansen behind the plate.
