Today is something completely out of the norm for my collecting wants and desires as I do not collect this player or much if any modern from the sport of his choice. This card cost me nothing years ago, however, and slabbing it for authenticity and value purposes was an easy decision (especially at $8 for the grading cost).
While I don't collect Kevin Durant I very much appreciate his ability, accomplishments, and place in the game's history. Owning a flagship rookie in a PSA 8 holder seemed like a scenario too good to pass up.
