LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw will spend all next week in Florida without pitching in a game, manager Dave Roberts indicated on Sunday.
By starting the Dodgers' final game of the first half against the Royals, Kershaw will be ineligible to pitch in Tuesday's All-Star Game presented by Mastercard at Marlins Park (4:30 p.m. PT on FOX). But Roberts said Kershaw also will be skipped in the series coming out of the break when the Dodgers play the Marlins in Miami.

"With Clayton, we've pushed him pretty hard in the first half," Roberts said.
