Clayton Kershaw threw a 22-pitch batting practice session Wednesday afternoon after being ruled out as the Opening Day starter on Monday.
Joc Pederson, Max Muncy and David Freese faced Kershaw at the plate, but the three were just tracking pitches and did not swing.
Dave Roberts and Kershaw spoke to the media after the batting practice session. The two felt that things were moving in the right direction.
Dave Roberts said Kershaw felt good and was positive after his session.
