PHOENIX -- Clayton Kershaw pitched two scoreless innings to open the Cactus League season and reserve third baseman Alex Guerrero homered as the Dodgers beat the White Sox, 6-1, on Thursday in Dave Roberts' debut as Los Angeles' manager.
Guerrero homered in the second inning off Chicago starter John Danks, who was touched up for two first-inning runs on RBI singles by Yasiel Puig and Yasmani Grandal.
Kershaw allowed a single, a walk and struck out two, then threw 20 more pitches in the bullpen after his outing.
