LOS ANGELES -- Is Clayton Kershaw pitching, or even starting, for the Dodgers on two days' rest in Tuesday's Wild Card Game?
Focused on winning Monday's Game 163 against Colorado and a sixth National League West title, the Dodgers wouldn't talk about Wild Card Game scenarios.
That said, if the Dodgers are in a Wild Card Game vs. the Cubs on Tuesday, out of necessity it becomes a bullpen game. Lefty Alex Wood could start, but he might be needed in relief Monday. Kershaw is the fallback option, if not the preferred one.
